DA's office gets new part-time assistant DA

Office will be fully staffed May 31

With the recent departure of two of his assistants, Oneida County district attorney Michael Schiek has put in a lot of long hours over the last eight weeks. But that started to change April 18 when Mary M. Sowinski started as the new part-time assistant district attorney.Sowinski, who was born and raised in Sugar Camp and graduated from Three Lakes High School, brings a wealth of experience to the position.
