A 50-year-old Woodruff man accused of stealing over $570,000 from an elderly town of Cassian couple between May 2013 and July 2014 is now facing 108 separate charges after Oneida County district attorney Mike Schiek amended the state's complaint.Brian B. Smith has been facing criminal charges related to the alleged theft since August 2014. He was originally charged with one count of forgery, one count of identity theft for financial gain and theft of movable property over $10,000. (subscriber access)
