Rhinelander Roots photo contest winners announced
The city of Rhinelander Historic Preservation committee held a photo contest in conjunction with the recent Rhinelander Roots Celebration.The following submissions were judged the winning photos.Contemporary photo: "Thirty Below Zero at the Mill" by Retired Sgt. Benjamin James Tatrow. Vintage photo: "Rhinelander Paper Co.: Break Time Around the Old Stove, 1938," by Carl Anderson, submitted by Susanne Barcal. Barcal inherited Anderson's photo collection after he died in 2008.
