Election season includes voting for favorite CANtastic structure

Following this year's theme of "Drive Out Hunger," six teams assembled their CANtastic creations on Saturday, Feb. 27. The structures will be on display in the Rouman Cinema lobby until Saturday, March 12. At that point they will be disassembled and all the cans and boxes of food used to create them, and voting for them, will then be donated to the Rhinelander Area Food Pantry for distribution to area families in need.The public is invited to the Awards Ceremony on Saturday morning, March 12, where trophies will be presented for Most Cans Used, Judge's Choice and Peoples Choice. Vote now for your favorite structure. Everyone is encouraged to vote by bringing cans of food and placing them in the designated bin in front of your favorite structure(s). One can will equal one vote.
