Christmas not alone
The Rhinelander Lions Club's annual Christmas Not Alone dinner was held Christmas Day at Kolbeck Hall. Volunteers and Lions prepared 30 turkeys and all the fixings for 180 home deliveries and approximately 200 people in the hall. Not including the Lions, there were 90 to 100 volunteers helping with the event. Two professional chefs donated their services to help with the dinner as well, club leaders said. At top, Lions members and volunteers prepare to serve warm meals to attendees of the annual Christmas Not Alone dinner. At bottom, Lions member Charles Franz and his wife, Lorraine, attended the annual Christmas Not alone dinner. Franz has been a Lion for 53 years, has participated as a Knight of Sight, is a Melvin Jones Fellowship recipient and a Birch-Sturm Fellowship recipient.
