YMCA Healthy Kids Day set for April 30
The YMCA of the Northwoods will hold a free community event from 10 a.m. to noon Saturday, April 30 to inspire more kids to keep their minds and bodies active. This year marks the 25th Annual YMCA's Healthy Kids Day®, the Y's national initiative to improve health and well-being for kids and families, the organization said in a press release. The event features activities such as arts and crafts, gym games, free swimming, bounce house, planting, emergency vehicles, hearing and vision screening, and much more to motivate and teach families how to develop healthy routines at home.
