Donations needed for benefit for local woman battling persistent cancer
Dairy Queen of Rhinelander is seeking donations for a benefit to be held June 11 at the Northwoods Banquet Center for an employee battling persistent cancer.In 2014, Michele Gambetti-Gerdes, a cake designer and shift leader at Dairy Queen, was diagnosed with rectal cancer. She won that battle only to have a malignant brain tumor appear in December 2015.
