Former Rhinelander resident thriving after completing Gogebic nursing program
Crystal Malakar of Green Bay, formerly of Rhinelander, has found great success in the nursing profession since graduating from Gogebic Community College's Associate Degree Nursing program in 2008. Malakar started at GCC in the fall of 2005, one year after her husband started taking classes. She began working on a pre-medicine degree as science was always her interest, and originally began studying environmental education/science at another regional college before transferring to GCC.
