'Bob the Hodag' author to visit NCES Sept. 15
A local author's book release is scheduled for Sept. 15 at 9 a.m. at Northwoods Community Elementary School. The book, "I Brought a Hodag to School," was written and illustrated by professional cartoonist Thomas Barnett who created Bob the Hodag. "Barnett was inspired to create Bob the Hodag after painting a mural of this loveable character on the walls of the local Northwoods Community Elementary School," according to a press release announcing the visit. "After a fifth-grader lovingly named him Bob, he came to life and inspired this children's book series featuring the character. Bob the Hodag has a Facebook page for all of his fans at www.facebook.com/BobtheHodag."
