The Ray Rousseau Post 3143 Veterans of Foreign Wars (VFW) typically donates about $20,000 a year to various charities in the Northwoods, however, this year's amount totaled $3,500. The organization had to cut back on donations this year because the roof of the VFW building had to be replaced at a cost of $15,000.
