YMCA of the Northwoods Mermaid Camp makes a splash
Mermaid Camp was held Aug. 10-12, from 10 a.m. until 1 p.m. at the YMCA of the Northwoods. Ten girls age 7-14 attended the camp. The mermaids learned basic swimming skills, synchronized swimming basics, seashell arts and crafts, and danced like a mermaid in and out of the water.
