The purpose of the upcoming Sept. 12 Bell Tower Residence Assisted Living Gala in Merrill is twofold, organizers said in a press release. First, it's a celebration of 25 years of care and service of Bell Tower Residence Assisted Living, a nonprofit sponsored ministry of the Holy Cross Sisters. Second, it's a fundraiser for a new 15-passenger van for the facility.
