Troop 660 had unforgettable adventure in South Dakota
In September 2013, Rhinelander Troop 660 of Samoset Council Boy Scouts of America had an idea. The boys wanted to go camping in the Badlands of South Dakota, visit several famous sites in the Black Hills, such as Mount Rushmore, and work toward earning geology and hiking merit badges. Troop 660 had not taken a trip of this size before. A great deal of planning and fundraising was necessary.
