It has been 69 years since Judy Durkee Peter and her family got the news that her father, paratrooper Glenn Ward of the 508th Parachute Infantry Regiment, 82nd Airborne Division, had been killed on Jan. 30, 1945 during the Battle of the Bulge in Belgium.
