UPDATE: Illness prompts closure of Pelican and Crescent elementary schools
Respiratory and gastrointestinal maladies plaguing students and staff
Updated: 12/13/2013, 2:35 PMPelican Elementary School will be closed Friday to allow students and staff to recover from an outbreak of illness.At approximately 10 a.m. Friday, the district announced Crescent Elementary school would also close for the day due to widespread illness.
