Last month as Wil Losch prepared for the Oklahoma City Memorial Marathon, he wrote a blog about running in a sacred place. He talked about how the marathon had turned into a positive event to contrast the Oklahoma City bombing, which took place in 1995.Little did he know at the time how intertwined marathons and terrorism would become.
