Lloyd H. Kincaid, age 82, of Crandon, died peacefully at home, on Nov. 1, 2007. Lloyd was born on May 8, 1925 in the Town of Fern, Mich., the son of the late Jesse and Nettie (Roach) Kincaid. He served in the United States Army during World War II from 1943-1945. On Oct. 4, 1952 in Iron Mountain, Mich., he married Kathleen Collier. Lloyd was a meat cutter by trade, but also worked as a cabinet maker at the Connor Mill in Laona. Lloyd served in the state assembly and state senate from 1973-1990. He was a member of St. Paul's Evangelical Lutheran Church, the Crandon Lions Club, the American Legion, and the DAV. He also served on the city council, county board, and the Nicolet College board.
