Brody Kowieski wins Jr. Tour event in Eagle River
Brody Kowieski, a senior-to-be at Rhinelander High School, shot a 2-over par round of 74 Sunday to win a Wisconsin PGA Junior Tour event at Eagle River Golf Course.

River Monsters to play Saturday night, kicking off big weekend
Saturday’s Dairyland League game between Rhinelander and Whittlesey at Stafford Field has been moved to 6 p.m. The game was originally scheduled to be played at noon but a later start time was granted by Rhinelander at Whittlesey’s request. The changed start time was confirmed Tuesday evening.

WIAA’s Hauser named to NFHS board
Stephanie Hauser, executive director of the Wisconsin Interscholastic Athletic Association, was approved by the National Federation of State High School Associations National Council for a four-year term on the NFHS Board of Directors.
