Special Olympians compete at regionals
Several Rhinelander area Special Olympians took part in a track and field regionals May 11 in Merrill. Although the weather was cold, and mixed precipitation fell, the Rhinelander athletes tried their hardest and performed well.
Rhinelander Little League to host tournament this weekend
Rhinelander Little League will host the fourth annual Hodag Memorial Invitational Youth Baseball Tournament today and Sunday at Hodag Park. The tournament will have four age divisions, with players ranging from nine to 12 years old.
Northern Wis. Blizzards win second Cheese Cup
The 2000 Northern Wisconsin Blizzards AAA hockey team traveled to Green Bay April 26-28 and took first place in the Cheese Cup AAA hockey tournament.
