Shinners, Arrowood swim at Suamico
Two Rhinelander Swim Club swimmers competed in their first meet of the season last Saturday and Sunday at the Howard-Suamico Fall Meet as part of the Northern Lakes Aquatic Club.

A golden opportunity
Roughly 30 swimmers were on hand in Rhinelander Saturday morning to listen to former Olympian Josh Davis, who competed for Team USA in the 1996 and 2000 Olympics and won three gold medals as part of relay teams in the 1996 games in Atlanta.

The James Williams Middle School girls' swim team finished second in a quadrangular meet in Stevens Point on Tuesday, finishing only behind Stevens Point's P.J. Jacobs Junior High School in the competition.
JWMS girls' cross country wins home invite
The James Williams Middle School girls' cross country team placed eight runners in the top 25 overall and won a six-team meet Monday on the Rhinelander High School cross country trails.
