Recently, Northwoods L.E.A.N. (Linking Education, Activity, and Nutrition), a coalition through the Oneida County Health Department, awarded a nutrition-based grant in the amount of $1,500 to Pelican Elementary School for creating a school garden.

High school drama club to perform 'Annie Play Will Do'
The curtain will rise Thursday evening on the Rhinelander High School and NCSS Drama Club's long-awaited spring production. "Annie Play Will Do" will premiere at 7:30 p.m. May 14. Two additional performances are set for 1 p.m. and 7:30 p.m. May 16. Admission is $5 per ticket.
