Nicolet culinary arts student wins national contest

How does spending a week in Italy on an all-expenses-paid culinary arts tour sound? Nicolet College student Stephanie Kaether will get to do just that this summer for being the grand prize winner in a national culinary competition sponsored by Johnsonville Sausage.

Nicolet student earns first place in national competition

Nicolet College Administrative Professional student Lisa Mikkelson received top honors at the recent Business Professionals of America National Leadership Conference held in Chicago.

A flip of the tassel!

Nicolet College held its commencement ceremonies over the weekend, recognizing nearly 600 students. Of those, 470 are receiving an associate degree, diploma or certificate in one of the college's programs. Another 125 students earned their GED or HSED through Nicolet's Academic Success program.

Nicolet College continues to be popular with recent high school graduates as more than 40 percent of the 2008 graduating seniors in the Nicolet district attended a technical college within three years of graduation. The vast majority of these enrolled at Nicolet, according to a recently released state report.
