Veterans Day ceremonies planned at courthouse, JWMS
Students at James Williams Middle School, 915 Acacia Lane in Rhinelander, will hold a Veterans Day ceremony in their auditorium beginning at 8:30 a.m. Friday, Nov. 10.
New report: Few know life-saving lung cancer screening is available
As part of Lung Cancer Awareness Month in November, the American Lung Association in Wisconsin this week released findings from the fourth annual Lung Health Barometer, a survey that revealed critically low awareness of lung cancer and life-saving lung cancer screening.

Howlin' Halloween
Dogs and their owners had a howling good time at the third annual Bark in the Dark Oct. 21 at the TLC Dog Training facility. The evening was filled with fun costumes, treats and games, with proceeds going to the American Cancer Society.
