The second annual Rhinelander Athletic Booster Club/Shoeder’s RV and Marine raffle concluded Friday, Feb. 9 as the grand prize winner was drawn during halftime of the Rhinelander High School boys’ basketball game against Lakeland at the Jim Miazga Community Gymnasium.
Still something to prove
The Rhinelander High School boys’ swim team does not have much to prove as it heads back to Waukesha tonight as the defending WIAA Division 2 state champions — at least not to itself or the rest of Hodag nation.

The Rhinelander Hodags had a strong day Saturday, winning seven events and advancing 16 of their 21 entries into the WIAA state meet, as they won a sixth-straight sectional title in Ashwaubenon.
