WESTON - It was a tale of two days for the Rhinelander High School girls' soccer team over the weekend at the D.C. Everest soccer invite. The Hodags were dominated Friday, falling 5-2 to Appleton North but returned to form Saturday with a 6-0 victory over Chippewa Falls.

The Hodags are in full control of the GNC after beating second-place Pacelli by matching 6-1 scores in a doubleheader Wednesday in Stevens Point. Rhinelander put a bow on an undefeated dual meet season with a 7-0 win over Antigo Thursday at the RHS tennis courts.

Rhinelander benefited from a penalty kick and a pair of own goals as it defeated the Indians 9-0 in a Great Northern Conference match at the RHS soccer fields.
