The Hodags exploded for 46 second-half points to rally past Medford 62-51 Friday at the Jim Miazga Community Gymnasium.

This year's Hodag squad wrote a new page in the history book, defeating East/Merrill 4-0 at the Rhinelander Ice Arena. It was the Hodags 15th win of the season, surpassing the mark of 14 set by the 2008-09 squad.
Kuester shines on senior night for Hodag gymnasts
Stephanie Kuester won all four events, recorded a career-high score in the all-around and the Hodags posted a season-best team score as they knocked off Medford 121.125-106.95.
Hodag swimmers in position for multiple state berths

Streak busted
A Hodag team that has struggled at times to close out tight games did so again Tuesday night, and this time it burned them as Merrill rallied from a 12-point second half deficit to defeat eighth-ranked Rhinelander 63-58 at the Jim Miazga Community Gymnasium.
Late goal foils Edge in 3-2 loss to Lakeland
Lakeland's Kailey Godfrey scored on a rebound with 1:32 remaining as the T-Birds defeated the Northern Edge 3-2 in the last home game of the season for the Edge at the Rhinelander Ice Arena.
Back where they belong
The Hodags earned five individual conference championships, and placed in the top three in 11 of the 14 weight classes, as they took the Great Northern Conference title Saturday at Lakeland Union High School in Minocqua.
Wisner's hat trick rallies Hodags past Waupaca
Freddy Wisner recorded a hat trick for the Hodags, including the game-tying and game-winning goals in the third period, as Rhinelander rallied past Waupaca 4-3 at the Rhinelander Ice Arena.

Refreshed and refocused, the Hodags looked like a completely different team as they jumped out to a big early lead and never looked back, defeating Northland Pines 70-51 Friday at the Jim Miazga Community Gymnasium.
Hodags win medley relay, take 4th overall at GNCs
The Rhinelander High School boys' swim team laid claim to the 200-yard medley relay and outperformed its showing in the Great Northern Conference duals by taking fourth place overall in the GNC championship meet Friday at Lakeland Union High School in Minocqua.
