Hodag tennis takes strong record vs. Valley into subsectionals
In past years, the Rhinelander High School girls' tennis team has felt a little out of place going up against the entire Wisconsin Valley Conference come WIAA tournament time. This year, however, the Hodags feel right at home against their former conference mates.

Josh Randolph made 12 saves, the Hodags defensive backfield snuffed out a number of other quality chances, and Hugh Wiese's 83rd minute redirection gave Rhinelander a 1-0 victory over D.C. Everest in the annual playing of the Hammer Game at Mike Webster Stadium.
