Stevens Point knocked off the Hodags 7-1 Thursday night at K.B. Willett Arena in a WIAA regional final contest. Rhinelander defeated Wausau East/Merrill 5-1 at the RIA to advance to the regional finals Wednesday night.
Lady Hodags beat D.C. Everest, Tomahawk, lock up GNC
Rhinelander kept winning, and locked up sole possession of the GNC title, defeating D.C. Everest 68-48 in a non-conference game Wednesday night followed by a 75-20 win over Tomahawk Thursday night.

Bryce Schickert led six Hodags with eight points or more as the Hodags defeated Tomahawk 72-49 at the Jim Miazga Community Gymnasium. The win snapped a losing streak that extended to five games a night earlier with a 61-49 loss at Medford.

Taylee Tucker scored a rebound goal with 4:29 remaining and the Northern Edge knocked off Lakeland 3-2 at the Rhinelander Ice Arena.
Hodags finish 11th in state Nordic championships
Both the Hodag boys' and girls' squads placed 11th at the Wisconsin Nordic Ski League state championships, which wrapped up Sunday in Cable.

Kenedy Van Zile reached 1,000 points in her career Friday night. The Hodags' junior point guard finished with a game-high 24 points as Rhinelander defeated Medford 61-45 at Raider Hall.
Hodag wrestlers send eight to sectionals
The Hodags held their own against the Wisconsin Valley Conference Saturday, sending eight of their 11 wrestlers to sectionals and placing fifth in an eight-team WIAA Division 1 regional at Merrill High School.
