The Hodags' first offensive play worked to perfection and the Rhinelander defense was nearly flawless all night in a 21-0 shutout of Prescott Friday to open the 2019 season at Laney Field.
Hodag tennis wins triangular, finishes first week of season 7-1
Following a sweep the night before at Marshfield Columbus to open Great Northern Conference play, the brooms were out again Friday as the Hodags took a pair of 8-0 victories over Ironwood, Mich. and Merrill in the Hodag triangular at the RHS tennis courts.

Hodag tennis strong in scrimmage
The Hodags won exhibition matches in all three flights featuring new starters and Rhinelander unofficially beat Wausau West 6-1 in a scrimmage between the two teams at the RHS tennis courts.
