Hodag swimmers seek to clinch GNC repeat at home in conference meet
The Rhinelander High School boys' swim team will have a chance tomorrow night to win its fourth conference title since joining the Great Northern Conference. But a conference title this season would be different from the other three because the Hodags have a chance to win this one at home.
Groundhog daze
The Rhinelander High School boys' basketball team experienced a bad case of deja vu Friday night. For the second straight year, the Hodags lost at home to Mosinee 70-69 in a game decided by a late free throw.
Hodag Alpine claims boys' ski, snowboard titles
A long and wild final day on the hill left the Rhinelander/Northland Pines Alpine ski and snowboard team on the top of the heap in the boys' half of the Northern Conference.
RHS gymnasts hit season high in Antigo Invite
The Hodag gymnasts set season-highs in three events, and posted a score of 115 points, as they placed third in the Maroon Division of the Antigo Invite Saturday at Sheldon Fieldhouse.

The Hodags put a bow on a perfect 10-0 GNC dual season Thursday night, winning seven of 11 events in a 110-58 win over Lakeland at the Heck Family Community Pool. It marked the second straight year Rhinelander finished undefeated in conference duals.

Harlan Wojtusik and Leo Losch scored two goals six seconds apart for Rhinelander, which proved to be the difference in a 5-3 victory over the Jets Saturday at the Rhinelander Ice Arena.

Lady Hodags steamroll Northland Pines 75-39
Cynthia Beavers led the charge for the RHS girls' basketball team with 23 points, Rebecca Lawrence added 21 and the Hodags blitzed the Eagles 75-39 at the Jim Miazga Community Gymnasium.
