12 Hodags honored on All-GNC football team
The Hodags had 12 team members named to the All-Great Northern Conference team, released Thursday. That's the most Rhinelander has had as a member of the GNC, surpassing the total of 11 players the Hodags had in 2012 and 2019.
STATE CHAMPIONS!
WAUKESHA - The Rhinelander High School girls' swim team made history Friday night. Malia Francis won two individual events, the Hodags won four events overall and Rhinelander claimed the WIAA Division 2 state championship at Waukesha South High School.
Rivalry and response
Despite losing the GNC championship game to Medford, not only were the Hodags a No. 1 seed for the two-week WIAA football culminating event, the team will have a second chance at an opportunity taken from them earlier in the season due to circumstances beyond its control.
