Medford beats RHS 2-0, relegates Hodags to 7th place game of GNC hockey tourney
Medford scored twice on the power play and that proved to be enough as the Raiders fended off the Hodags 2-0 at the Rhinelander Ice Arena in a consolation game in the Great Northern Conference hockey tournament.

Rhinelander won four events, and had at least one top-three finish in all 11 races, as it won its second straight GNC boys' swim title with ease Friday night in front of the home crowd at the Heck Family Community Pool.

Another opportunity missed
