Hodag tennis cruises to victory in subsectional
Rhinelander advanced all seven flights and won a seven-team subsectional Monday at Wausau West High School. The whole squad moved on to Wednesday's sectional round in Green Bay.
Gechas, Henrichs finish golf season at sectionals
Two members of the Rhinelander High School golf team completed their seasons in a WIAA Division 1 sectional Tuesday at Greenwood Hills Country Club. Junior Kole Gechas shot 84 and tied for 20th in a 48-player field while sophomore Andrew Henrichs shot 93 and tied for 41st.

The Hodags cruised on a hot day on their home courts, taking championships in five of the seven flights as they won the GNC tournament, securing the program's seventh straight conference title and ninth in the last 11 years.
