RHS to host WIAA D3 football semifinal tonight
Rhinelander High School has been selected by the WIAA to host a Division 3 state semifinal football game between Rice Lake and Menasha tonight at Mike Webster Stadium.

The Hodags dominated Saturday, winning seven events and earning 12 overall berths to the state meet as they defeated Rice Lake by 48 points for the sectional title at Menomonie High School.

The Rhinelander High School cross country team put a bow on its stellar 2021 season Thursday night, hosting its awards banquet in the RHS commons. Senior Cal Laggis and freshman Sophie Miljevich took home the team's fastest harrier awards, headlining the list of award winners.

Hodag gridders earn 17 All-GNC nods
Rhinelander had 12 different players receive recognition and took up 17 spots overall on the all-conference football team. That includes five unanimous all-conference first-team selections.
