The longest-standing high school girls' record at the Heck Family Community Pool fell Tuesday night. Rhinelander junior Abi Winnicki took down the 500-yard freestyle mark as the Hodags swam to a 128-41 victory over Colby/Abbotsford in the team's final home meet of the season.
Hodag harriers sweep Northland Pines Invite
The Hodag boys and girls had similar success Tuesday. Rhinelander placed five runners in the top 12 of the girls' race and five in the top 13 of the boys' race to sweep the Northland Pines Invitational in Eagle River.
Hodags advance three to tennis sectionals
The Rhinelander High School girls' tennis team advanced its No. 1 singles and doubles flights through to sectionals, but had a difficult time everywhere else, as it hosted a Division 1 subsectional meet Monday at the RHS tennis courts and the Hodag Dome.
