Hodag tennis closes out dual meet season with wins over Shawano, Wausau West
The Rhinelander High School boys' tennis team used its final two dual meets of the season on Monday to better position itself for WIAA tournament play, which begins next week.

After defeating Antigo 13-1 on Thursday, the Hodags saw their 12-game winning streak come to an end with a 1-0 loss to Onalaska Friday afternoon in Weston. Saturday morning, a weary Hodag team lost 4-0 to Holmen to complete its fourth game in five days.

Medford routs Hodags again to end regular season
A day after losing 17-0 to Medford in the Hodag Dome, the Hodags had to face Medford again, falling 15-0 on the road Wednesday to close out the regular season.
RHS golfers take 5th at Timber Ridge
The Hodags shot 351 but had to settle for fifth place in what turned into the fifth leg of the Great Northern Conference tournament at Timber Ridge Golf Club in Minocqua after Thursday's play at Eagle River Golf Course was wiped out due to thunderstorms.
Teammates Litzen, Walkowski to bowl together at Marian
Kody Litzen and Bella Walkowski have been teammates on the lanes for the last five years. On Wednesday, the two Rhinelander High School seniors announced they plan to bowl together for Marian University in Fond du Lac beginning next fall.
Hodag soccer keeps rolling
Ava Lamers scored twice Tuesday night and the Hodags won their 11th straight game defeating Medford 4-0 at Mike Webster Stadium. It was Rhinelander's seventh straight shutout win during its dominant stretch of play.
Hodag tennis beats Antigo, pushes GNC lead to 30 points
The Hodags put more distance between themselves and the rest of the GNC Tuesday, rallying for a pair of three-set wins in singles play to defeat Antigo 6-1 at the RHS tennis courts.

Gechas shoots 76, Hodags 3rd again at home
Rhinelander fared well again Tuesday on its home course, shooting 341 and scoring yet another third-place finish in the fourth leg of the Great Northern Conference tournament at Northwood Golf Club.

Medford softball routs Hodags
Medford scored multiple runs in every inning and defeated Rhinelander via the 15-run rule, 17-0, in four innings in the Hodag Dome.
Hodag boys second at Otto Bacher
The Hodags boys left a number of points on the table Friday night as they finished second in the 35th annual Otto Bacher Invitational in Merrill. The Hodag girls had four top-three finishes as they placed seventh in their division.
Better together: Gechas, Kulhanek team up for golf wins
Seniors Koldyn Gechas and Garrett Kulhanek teamed up to win a pair of non-conference invites in two unique two-man formats. They won the Winnebago Lutheran Academy Invite on Wednesday in Green Lake and then the Merrill Invitational on Saturday.
