James A. Polinski

James A. Polinski, U.S. Navy veteran, passed away peacefully on September 28, 2026 at the age of 68 in Rhinelander. He was born on April 3, 1958 in Rhinelander to Barbara Bauman and Ronald Polinski.

James will be remembered for his warmth, generous heart, quiet strength, and devotion to his family. He is survived by his sisters Marian (Brian) O’Melia and Theresa Aubert, his brothers Roy and John (Marti), his niece Kristina Blaszke, nephew Thomas Blaszke, two great-nieces, three great-nephews, many close cousins, and also many close friends. He was preceded in death by his mother Barbara Bauman and father Ronald Polinski.
