Jennifer Lynn (Cahak) Lyman

Jennifer Lynn (Cahak) Lyman, 55, passed away November 2, 2026, after a courageous battle with cancer.

Jennie was born on April 12, 1971, to Gary and Linda Cahak. Throughout her life, she was known for her kind heart, outgoing spirit, and deep love for the people closest to her.

Jennie is lovingly survived by her husband, Trevor Lyman; daughter, Amber (Tyler) Pontbriand and grandson, Beckett; and stepchildren, Dustin Lyman, Laina (Ahron) McAuliffe, and TJ Lyman.

She is also survived by her stepmother, Ann Cahak; sister, Dannielle (Scott) Wiczek, nephew Carson and niece Adilin; brother, Christopher (Cathy) Cahak; cousin, Nicole, and family; close friends, Jennie, Chris, and Todd; along with many other relatives and friends who will miss her dearly.

Jennie was preceded in death by her parents, Gary and Linda Cahak, and her beloved grandparents.

Jennie found happiness in the things she loved most. She loved camping, antiquing, crafting, and traveling, and she was especially grateful for the opportunity to explore new places and make lasting memories over the last several years. Becoming a grandmother brought her immense joy, and she cherished every moment she was able to spend with her grandson, Beckett. The time she shared with her family and friends created memories that will be treasured for generations to come.

The family would like to extend their heartfelt gratitude to the Aspirus Hospice team for the care and compassion they provided to Jennie.

Jennie’s love, strength, and beautiful spirit will live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved her.

Visitation for Jennie will be held on Wednesday, November 18, 2026 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM with Memorial Services following at 11:00 AM, all at the Carlson Funeral Home.
