Border Troubadours theatre event to benefit Three Lakes Center for the Arts

On Thursday, May 28 at 7:30 p.m., the Border Troubadours theatre troupe will perform three new original one-act plays to benefit the Three Lakes Center for the Arts, located at 1760 Superior St. in Three Lakes.

The energetic and talented cast will perform the following one-act plays, and encourage the audience to sing along and tap their toes with the band to familiar tunes from the 1950s, ’60s and ’70s:

“2 Women: Rewind, Recall, Reset,” created by director Cindy Pesek, features two women reinventing their lives. Is that a glimpse of heaven from their two men? A nostalgic, relatable dramedy.

“Unhinged in Barcelona” depicts travelers, weary and downtrodden, experiencing the worst nightmare scenarios as they travel during Holy Week. Original play written by Cindy Pesek.

“WPUD in Puddle Falls,” created by troupe member Kevin McSorley, is a comedic rendition of a 6 o’clock newscast. Witty and clever!
