Shirley Mae (Boote) Zerbe

Shirley Mae (Boote) Zerbe, 93, passed away peacefully on May 12, 2026, in Lecanto, Fla.

Born on April 29, 1933, in Harshaw, she was the beloved daughter of Carl and Ethel Boote. She married Christ Zerbe on September 29, 1951. He preceded her in death. Shirley dedicated her life to her family, leaving behind a proud legacy of love, strength, and devotion spanning five generations.

She is survived by her three children: daughters Polly (Jerry) Biesel and Teresa (Steve) Anderson, and son Roger Zerbe. She is also survived by her sister, Ruthie Boote, as well as eight grandchildren, 30 great-grandchildren, and three great-great-grandchildren.

Shirley was preceded in death by her parents and five siblings. She will be deeply missed and fondly remembered by all who knew and loved her.

A vcelebration of Life will be scheduled for a later date.
