Robin Kristine Hendrickson (Ives)

Robin Kristine Hendrickson (Ives), 65, of Vero Beach, Fla., passed away peacefully on Friday, May 8, 2026, with her devoted husband, Daniel Hendrickson, by her side after a long and courageous battle with cancer.

Robin was born on February 15, 1961, in Rhinelander, to Thomas and Nancy (Robinson) Ives. She attended Zion Lutheran School and graduated from Rhinelander High School with the Class of 1979. Following graduation, Robin attended Mid-State Technical Institute, where she earned her degree in operating room assistance and surgical technology.

Robin married Daniel Hendrickson in February of 1983. Though life took them on separate paths for a time, they ultimately found their way back to one another and remarried years later — a testament to the enduring love they shared. Together they had a daughter, Sarah Hendrickson.

Robin was an avid sports fan who loved cheering on the Wisconsin Badgers, Milwaukee Brewers, and Green Bay Packers.

Robin is survived by her husband, Daniel Hendrickson; her mother, Nancy Ives; her daughter, Sarah Hendrickson; her treasured grandchildren, Mason and Grace Delaney; her siblings, Mitch Ives and Mary (Shawn) Marquardt; along with many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins, extended family members, and dear friends.

She was preceded in death by her father, Thomas Ives; her brother, Mike Ives; her grandparents, Frank and Ida Robinson and James and Marcella Ives; as well as many beloved aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends who welcomed her home.

Visitation for Robin will be held on Friday, June 12, from 10 a.m. to noon with memorial services following at noon, all at the Zion Evangelical Lutheran Church. Reverend Karl Schultz will officiate.
