Color Run Fun

Rhinelander High School HOSA (Health Occupations Students of America) club member Addy Strobel covers Alayna Olsen of Rhinelander, with colorful chalk during the fourth annual HOSA Color Run at RHS Saturday, May 15. According to RHS HOSA chapter advisor Sadie Adamski, the event drew more than 170 runners and there were 30 raffle baskets that were given away. Proceeds from the event went to support a local family, whose 8-year-old daughter has end-stage liver disease. Adamski said the child received a liver transplant on Monday, two days after the event. “We want to thank everyone who made donations, whether it was food/water, monetary, or raffle baskets! It was our biggest year and a great success! We are all rooting for Sophia and hoping for a speedy recovery,” Adamski said in an email to the River News. For more photos, see Page 19.
