Grand opening of Vancos Family Splash Pad to be held May 22 at Hodag Park

The Kiwanis Club of Rhinelander, in partnership with the City of Rhinelander, is excited to announce the Grand Opening and Ribbon Cutting Ceremony for the new Vancos Family Splash Pad at Hodag Park on Friday, May 22, at 1 p.m.

Community members, families, local leaders, and supporters are invited to join in celebrating this exciting addition to the Rhinelander community. The splash pad was made possible through the dedication of local volunteers, generous donors including the Vancos Family, community partnerships, and the shared vision of creating a fun and welcoming space for children and families to enjoy for years to come.

“This project represents what can happen when a community comes together to invest in its families and future,” said Kerry Brekke, Kiwanis Club of Rhinelander president. “We are proud to celebrate the opening of a space that will bring joy, laughter, and lasting memories to so many.”

The event will include a brief ribbon cutting ceremony, remarks from community representatives, photo opportunities, and the official opening of the Vancos Family Splash Pad for the season.

The public is encouraged to attend and help celebrate this exciting milestone for the community.
