Leadership Oneida County Class Team launches online mental health resource guide for Northwoods
Members of the Leadership Oneida County team have launched a new online mental health resource guide designed to help area residents quickly and easily find support services throughout the Northwoods. The project, Mental Health Resources in the Northwoods, was developed to improve awareness of available services and connect individuals with the help they want and need.
The resource will be accessible online with community partners: Nicolet College Substance Use Disorder Counselor (SUDC) and Human Services Program, National Alliance on Mental Illness (NAMI), Northwoods Community Outreach, Prevention, and Education (COPE), Oneida County Substance Coalition, and Oneida County Health Department (OCHD).
It will also be promoted through community flyers featuring a QR code for quick mobile access. The guide includes a variety of services, from traditional mental health providers to holistic wellness options, all designed to support overall mental well-being.
The online guide provides a centralized, easy-to-use platform that brings together a wide range of mental health and wellness resources in one place. Created as part of the Leadership Oneida County program, the project reflects the team’s commitment to addressing local needs and supporting community well-being.
“Our goal was to create a simple, accessible tool that connects people with the many mental health and wellness resources available in our region,” said members of the project team. “By gathering this information in one place, we hope to make it easier for individuals to find the support that works best for them.”
Community members are encouraged to watch for flyers throughout the area to access the resources and learn more.
