Oneida County ATV/UTV trail system opens today
The Oneida County ATV/UTV Trail System (as administered by the Oneida County forestry, land and recreation department) will officially open for the 2026 spring/summer/fall season effective at noon, Friday, May 1. This includes the trails maintained by the Hodag 4-Wheelers ATV Club, Pel-Cho Mudd Nutz ATV-UTV Club, the Little Rice ATV Club, the Lakeland ATV Club and the Nokomis ATV Club.
Trails are in early season condition and may be wet in spots, so please use caution. As always, please stay on the marked trails, obey all signs and regulations and please ride responsibly.
The Enterprise Campground will open at 10 a.m. on Friday, May 8. The Enterprise Campground is located within the Oneida County Forest approximately 11 miles south of Rhinelander on Shingle Mill Road.
