Applications are now being accepted for the Spring 2026 Youth Philanthropy Project
The Rhinelander Community Foundation has announced that applications are now being accepted for the Spring 2026 Youth Philanthropy Project.
Nonprofit organizations serving within the boundaries of the School District of Rhinelander are encouraged to apply for grant funding of up to $2,500.
The Rhinelander Youth Philanthropy Project is a program funded by the Rhinelander Community Foundation in cooperation with the Rhinelander High School Leadership Development classes, with the goal of having students experience community philanthropy first hand. Rhinelander High School offers two levels of Leadership Development, the first level focusing on developing critical personal traits for leaders, and the second level centers on the individual’s role in team leadership.
If your organization is a 501 (c)3 non-profit organization with a service area impacting the School District of Rhinelander, you are invited to apply by downloading or filling out the application at https://www.rhinelander.k12.wi.us/community/youth-philantropy-project.cfm
Applications may also be submitted in PDF format to [email protected] by April 6.
The partnership aims to develop leadership, critical thinking and collaboration skills among high school students in our community. By learning about philanthropy and nonprofits first-hand, students gain the tools to strengthen their hometown and foster lifelong civic engagement.
