Two new features for 2026 Hodag Heritage Festival

Organizers of the Hodag Heritage Festival announced two brand-new features for this year’s Hodag Heritage Festival on May 16 — a completely redesigned festival website and the Paul Bunyan Lumberjack Show.

Both additions are part of the festival’s effort to enhance the experience for attendees, families, and the community, according to a press release.

The new website offers improved navigation, streamlined registration, mobile-friendly access, and a complete schedule making it easier than ever for attendees to plan their day, explore festival offerings, and stay informed about event highlights.

Meanwhile, the Paul Bunyan Lumberjack Show promises action-packed entertainment for all ages, with shows at noon and 4 p.m. Ticket prices are kept to a minimum thanks to sponsors Ahlstrom and CoVantage Credit Union. Advance tickets are available now at $5 for children 12 and under and $10 for general admission ages 13 and up, with any remaining tickets sold the day of the festival at the information booth.

Spectators can enjoy thrilling lumberjack competitions, including axe throwing, crosscut sawing, a chainsaw vs. crosscut race, underhand and standing block chopping, chainsaw carving, and log rolling.
