‘Tying Land and Water’ event at Rhinelander Brewing Company March 19
Come have a brew and enjoy the camaraderie of those who love to trout fish in the Northwoods of Wisconsin.
On Thursday, March 19 from 4 to 7 p.m., representatives from the Wisconsin River Valley Chapter of Trout Unlimited, Northwoods Land Trust, and Mel’s Trading Post will be on hand to demonstrate fly tying patterns and assist new fly tyers with a creation of their own. For seasoned fly tyers, join the fun, and show others your favorite design.
Trout Unlimited will present you with a certificate for half off a pint if you tie a fly at the event!
This casual, walk-in event is free and open to the public. The event host, the Rhinelander Brewing Company, is located at 43 S. Brown Street in Rhinelander. Mel’s Trading Post will supply vises and materials, or you may bring your own.
Anyone is welcome to stop in, socialize and learn about the sponsoring organizations and businesses during the 3-hour event.
You may RSVP in advance (optional) by emailing John Heusinkveld at [email protected] or calling 715-479-2490. If you have questions about Trout Unlimited, look at the Wisconsin Valley Chapter website: wrvtu.org. To learn more, go to northwoodslandtrust.org under the events tab.
