Three Lakes Lions Club Rose Sale going on now

Three Lakes as well as 25 other Lions Clubs in the state will sell and deliver roses. Club members take orders for roses to Wisconsin locations listed below until March 25 which will be delivered by Lions Club members on April 17 or 18.

Proceeds from the sale from the Three Lakes Lions Club will go to target the Three Lakes School District’s including Sugar Camp Elementary hunger initiatives. 

Lion Collette Sorgel said the board voted unanimously to have the proceeds help children in our community. According to the press release, the Lions Club is a strong supporter of its local community and believes this is a great way to give back to the children.

The press release asks for help to support this “worthy cause and surprise a friend or loved one on a day that isn’t Valentine’s Day with a beautiful bouquet of roses.” 

This is the third year of a rose sales, and the fundraiser gets more participants every year. 

One of the recipients last year was thrilled to have roses delivered on a day it was not “expected” she said it made her feel “amazing and loved,” according to the press release.

Here is what you do: You purchase roses for loved ones at $18 a dozen to be delivered to Sugar Camp, Eagle River, Three Lakes, and other specified areas around the state. Purchases must be made by March 25.
