Ruby’s Pantry adjusts closing time for monthly distribution

Ruby’s Pantry, a ministry of Calvary Baptist Church in Rhinelander, distributes food on the third Tuesday of each month at the National Guard Armory, 1136 Adams Way, in Rhinelander.

The pop‑up pantry begins at 4:30 p.m. Starting March 17, the closing time will shift to 5:30 p.m., though volunteers will continue serving anyone already in line while supplies last, according to a press release.

For a $25 cash donation, participants receive a variety of grocery items. “There are no income requirements to utilize Ruby’s Pantry to stretch your food budget — if you eat food, you qualify,” Pastor Rod Ankrom said.
