PHOTOS: Hodag Peewee B team takes sixth at state

The Rhinelander Ice Association’s Peewee (U12) B hockey team hosted the Wisconsin Amateur Hockey Association’s Peewee 3B state tournament at the Rhinelander Ice Arena Saturday, March 7 and Sunday, March 8.

The Hodags placed sixth in the tournament following a pair of close losses. Rhinelander scored two goals in the final two minutes as it nearly rallied from a 6-3 deficit in the opener against second-seeded West Salem before losing to the Wild, 6-5. The Hodags defeated Shawano 5-1 in the consolation semifinals before dropping the fifth-place game in overtime to Marshfield, 2-1.
